Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American actor and singer from the United States. She was best known for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). She also played the main part of Jerrica Jem Betnton, in the movie Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples, the child of Wendy Peeples and Ashley Peeples, grew up on Lake Mary Florida. There is also an older sister named Ally. Aubrey was an actor with Orlando Repertory Theatre during her growing up. Aubrey is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class as she was a graduate. Harvard University initially accepted her application, but later agreed to let her into the university for another entry since she was cast as 'Nashville'. Peeples appeared as a character in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) and Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring role in Necessary Rustiness (1991). She was in two made-for-television films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a part of the cast for the role of a major regular in the second season of the show drama Nashville where she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview she gave the magazine NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples in September 2014 as one of the top American young actors.
